Is your iPad, iPhone or Android smartphone or tablet slowing down? Here's a way to speed it up by closing all the running apps
If your mobile phone or tablet is feeling sluggish, it might be because you have a lot of apps open and running in the background. It’s easy to check and close down apps you’re not using, though.
iPhone and iPad
Click the Home button twice quickly and you’ll see all your running apps as smaller cards.
You can scroll through this like a carousel. To close an app, swipe its card upwards.

Android
It’s much the same on Android. To see all your running apps, swipe up from the bottom (or tap the square button) and then pause (if you bring up the app drawer, you’ve swept too far and you’ll need to start again).
You’ll see the apps come up as cards: it’s slightly different on every phone model, but the principle is the same.
To close a single app, swipe its card up until it disappears.
On some phones you can close them all at once: if you’re still using a Huawei device, for example, you can tab the dustbin icon that appears under the cards and all the apps will close.
