If you lose your Android phone or tablet, you may feel alarmed that a stranger has been able to access your device and the data contained on it - especially if it's not locked by a password.
Fortunately, there's an easy way to check which devices have accessed your Google account details recently, and from which locations. By checking your Google account activity, you can see which phones, tablets and computers have been used to access your Google or Android details.
This is a handy way to see if any unrecognised access has happened recently.
Open a web browser on a computer and go to https://myaccount.google.co
Click Device Activity & Notifications
This will open a page showing all recent sign ins to your Google account and various elements, including Android devices in use. You should be able to see if anything is amiss - ie someone accessing your Google details from a location or device that you don't recognise.
If you're in any doubt, change your Google password details. Anyone trying to access your Google or Android information will need this fresh password to continue.
