Connecting an iPad, iPhone or Mac to a wireless printer is an easy way to print photos and any other documents from your device, without having to install additional apps or software to your device. If you have a printer that supports Apple’s printing standard – AirPrint – setup is simple. You can print from within almost any app.

Network your Airprint printer
First of all, check that your printer is connected to your wi-fi network, and connected to the same network as your iOS device or Mac. If you're not sure how to do this, here's a guide from Apple.
Print from an iPad or iPhone with Airprint
All you need to do is open a document, web page, email or photo on your iPad or iPhone, tap the Share button (the upwards arrow in a box), then tap Print. Select the AirPrint printer from your favorite app and you're ready to print.

In some apps, the Print option can be found in the Settings or Options menu instead.
Choose how many copies you want to print. If your AirPrint printer isn’t already selected, tap Select Printer, then tap your printer’s name. Tap Print when you’re ready
You don't need to add a specific printer app (eg Canon or HP) to your iPad or iPhone, though these can give you additional options beyond the 'tap to print' simplicity of using Airprint.
It's even easier on a Mac, which will immediately find Airprint printers on the same wi-fi network.
